In 2006, I finished my M.A. in Desert studies at the Desert Architecture and Urban planningdepartment in Sde-Boker campus. As a graduation present, I traveled to Auroville in Pondicherry, India – to join Satprem Maini in a two weeks building workshop.
That was a time of amazement and splendor. We learned AVD theories in the morning and practiced in the afternoon. Working and playing with mud is always a game where hands and feet join together. The happiness of pure geometry and engineering principles has made it poetry!
Such a wonderful time in Pondicherry – I will visit again!
